the same thing happened when a guy used Martha Stewart's personal lemon zester (Unfortunately, the ticket will be to a Jets game)

"You know Kim Jong Un, the evil dictator of North Korea? Apparently, a guy in his inner circle used his ashtray while smoking and Kim Jong Un had him executed. I remember the same thing happened when a guy used Martha Stewart's personal lemon zester." –David Letterman

"Here in New York City you can now walk around smoking weed and all they will do if they see you is write you a ticket. Unfortunately, the ticket will be to a Jets game." –David Letterman

Today they released one of our prisoners and in return we sent back one of their shortstops (Hope and Pinot Grigio)

"Today President Obama announced that the U.S. is working to improve its relationship with Cuba in an effort to normalize full diplomatic relations. For instance, today they released one of our prisoners and in return we sent back one of their shortstops." –Jimmy Fallon

"Today everyone was busy looking at all the different numbers, trying to figure out who voted for which candidate. President Obama beat Mitt Romney by 38 points among single women. They say it’s because of Obama’s final campaign slogan, 'Hope and Pinot Grigio.'" –Jimmy Fallon

"Rand Paul, the senator from Kentucky, keeps getting into trouble. They say he actually plagiarized an entire section of his 2012 book, 'Government Bullies.' When asked for comment, Paul said, 'It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.'" –Jimmy Fallon

I guess you don’t have to wear protection when you go **** yourself (Did someone say Open Bar?)

December 2021

“Given fears about transmissibility of the variant, which is still poorly understood, New York City mayor Bill de Blasio this week unveiled the nation’s first vaccine mandate for private companies, which will apply to 184,000 businesses. That’s the full range of New York businesses, from Famous Original Ray’s Pizza, to Original Ray’s Famous Pizza Ray. De Blasio also imposed proof of vaccination requirements for all kids between the ages of 5 and 11 entering restaurants, theaters and gyms. That’s great, we’ve got to make it safe for our 6-year-olds to hit the leg press.” —Stephen Colbert

“Still, the only thing spreading faster than Omicron is misinformation from conservatives. Georgia representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, tweeted over the weekend: ‘Every single year more than 600,000 people in the US die from cancer. The country has never once shut down. Not a single school has closed.’ Because cancer is not contagious, you nimrod. That’s like comparing apples and oranges to cancer.” —Stephen Colbert

“Marjorie Taylor Greene wasn’t the only GOP lawmaker to sow doubt over the legitimacy of a virus variant. On Fox News host Brian Kilmeade’s radio show last week, Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson said: ‘Fauci did the exact same thing with Aids. He overhyped it.’ Yes, Aids: the pandemic the federal government famously took too seriously. Well, if Aids was overhyped, Senator Johnson, then I guess you don’t have to wear protection when you go fuck yourself.” —Stephen Colbert

Turns out, this whole time, the glass ceiling was up Joe Biden’s butt (we need them to run the country, not impregnate our women)

November 2021

“President Biden kicked off his birthday weekend with a colonoscopy. Doctors said there were no traces of malarkey. Everything looked good, or everything looked as good as the inside of an elderly man’s butt can look.” —Jimmy Kimmel

“White House physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor says Joe Biden is a ‘healthy and vigorous male.’ ‘Vigorous.’ Why does every presidential checkup sound like a Cialis ad? I mean we need them to run the country, not impregnate our women.” —Jimmy Kimmel

“Glad he’s healthy, of course. Kind of hoping they’d find that he has that Benjamin Button disease — he’s actually getting younger every day.” —Stephen Colbert

“Personally, I’m grateful that on Friday, history was made because Joe Biden temporarily transferred power to Vice President Kamala Harris while undergoing a routine colonoscopy, making Harris the first woman to assume presidential power. Yes, 100 years after women got the right to vote, we finally got the first female president on a technicality. Turns out, this whole time, the glass ceiling was up Joe Biden’s butt.” —Stephen Colbert

“The Wisconsin jury found Kyle Rittenhouse, now 18, not guilty, but only a complete moron would celebrate this clear tragedy by making this guy a hero. Enter: Florida congressman Matt Gaetz, who tweeted NOT GUILTY!!!!!!! when the verdict was released. Of course, Gaetz has a vested interest in juries finding people not guilty, especially when it involved a 17-year-old crossing state lines.” —Stephen Colbert

It's a small world but I wouldn’t want to paint it (I don't have any fingerprints)

My uncle was a clown for Ringling Brothers Circus and when he died all his friends went to the funeral in one car. --Steven Wright
I bought this thing from my car. You put it on your car. It sends out this little noise so when you drive near the woods deer won't run in front of your car. I installed it backwards by accident and now when I drive down the street I have a herd of deer chasing me. --Steven Wright
I remember when I was a fetus I used to sneak out at night when my mother was sleeping. I thought to myself, you know now is the time I should start stealing some stuff since I don't have any fingerprints. --Steven Wright

His gift of free energy for all (the guy who thinks science is a Chinese hoax)

Trump made a lot of promises last night but they're not very credible because you know, it's him. For example, he made a promise to eradicate HIV in America by 2030. Donald Trump, “My budget will ask Democrats and Republicans to make the needed commitment to eliminate the HIV epidemic in the United States within ten years.” Great if there's one person who's cut out to fight disease it's the guy who thinks science is a Chinese hoax. And curing HIV is a worthy goal, it might be a more achievable goal if Trump hadn't fired his entire hiv/aids advisory panel with no explanation, diverted funds from HIV AIDS services to cover the increased costs of baby cages, stopped a study that was researching a cure and repeatedly rolled back protections for LGBTQ people who are disproportionately affected by HIV. --Samantha Bee

Then she spent the afternoon shooting pandas from a helicopter (still light enough to fling at your husband's head)

"And Sarah Palin gave a speech today in Hong Kong. She was very tough on President Obama. She attacked President Obama on foreign soil. Well, I'm sure the people that went after the Dixie Chicks will be going after her right now." --Jay Leno

He's so conservative he thinks watching 'Will and Grace' gives you AIDS (Lies that led us to war, pt.3)

"Sanjaya has quite a weekend ahead of him. He's going to the White House Correspondents' dinner on Saturday night, which means there's a really good chance he will meet President Bush. It's crazy to think that a guy who did not get the most votes, who's not good at what he does, is famous despite the fact that he is consistently horrible, would get the chance to go to the White House and meet Sanjaya." --Jimmy Kimmel
"In the wake of his disastrous performance before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales maintains that he still won't resign. Really, Alberto Gonzales? You're not going to resign? During the hearings, you said 'I don't remember' or ' I don't recall' over 50 times. Don't lawyers need to have good memories? I'd rather have the guy from 'Memento' as a lawyer. My Commodore 64 has more memory than you, and it runs on bong water. Even the most conservative senators think you should resign. Sam Brownback thinks you should resign, and he's so conservative, he thinks watching 'Will and Grace' gives you AIDS." --Seth Meyers

because there is nothing the administration can do that is not ironic (It makes the brain hurt)

"We begin tonight with news about the news. The fourth estate has had a rough ride of late, covering the stalemate over the war funding bill, the possible influence and peddling at the Department of Justice, some World Bank thingy. It makes the brain hurt.

Well, help is on the way [on screen: reporters saying the D.C. madam story is fun to cover]. Oh yeah, sex scandal baby! Happy days are here. It's like we got our pre-9/11 boners back. The first casualty was Randall Tobias, a deputy secretary of state who resigned last week after admitting to using the escort service.

Tobias had been running the Bush administration's Global AIDS Prevention program, which emphasized abstinence ... because there is nothing the administration can do that is not ironic." --Jon Stewart

It looks like JB has the African American vote wrapped up (that's also what ended his first and second marriages)

"Another presidential debate last night. One of 90 scheduled before the election in November next year. Democrats gathered at Howard University in Washington, DC. Joe Biden talked about AIDS in the black community. He's against it and he had some interesting things to say [on screen: Biden saying he and  Barack Obama have been tested for AIDS]. It looks like Joe Biden has the African American vote wrapped up." --Jimmy Kimmel

"In an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network, presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani said his dreams of becoming a priest ended when he realized he couldn't give up having sex. Ironically, that's also what ended his first and second marriages." --Jay Leno

our forefathers wore wigs and satin Capri pants (c*ck fights)

"A Senate committee on Thursday approved a constitutional amendment banning same sex marriage, apparently forgetting that our forefathers wore wigs and satin Capri pants." --Tina Fey

"Kenyan Muslims believe that a five-and-a-half pound tuna caught in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Mombasa, carries a message from Allah written among its scales. In a related story, this doctor [shows a picture of Bill Frist] doesn't think doesn't think condoms stop AIDS. And that's this week's edition of 'Religion Gone Nuts.'" --Tina Fey

"Many governors of northeastern states are unwilling to volunteer their National Guard troops to assist with President Bush's border plan. They want the Guard troops doing what they do best: freaking people out at Amtrak stations." --Amy Poehler

"A Louisiana state Senate committee unanimously approved a ban on cock fighting, in what appears to be a first step in outlawing gay marriage." --Amy Poehler
