It wasn't his first choice for a backdrop, but the water wasn't quite deep enough for the aircraft carrier (Can we start with you?)

"He's like the Peanuts character Pigpen. Wherever he goes, he stirs up such a humongous mess, it can only be cleaned up by Halliburton." –Bill Maher, on George W. Bush

"Did you see the speech? President Bush spoke from Jackson Square in New Orleans. It wasn't his first choice for a backdrop, but the water wasn't quite deep enough for the aircraft carrier." --Bill Maher

"The president said much of the aid is going towards job training. And when they heard that, the people of New Orleans rose as one and said, 'Can we start with you?'" --Bill Maher

I got here as quick as I could (the most viewed image in history)

"Today President Bush was in New Orleans for the two-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. When he arrived in New Orleans he told the mayor 'I got here as quick as I could.'" --Jay Leno

"Osama Bin Laden is set to release yet another video tape, he makes an appearance once or twice a year to show he's still alive. Kind of like the Rolling Stones." --Jay Leno

"Very awkward moment in the Hillary Clinton campaign today. I guess Hillary told her staff to call Democrats with money, and they called Barack Obama." --Jay Leno

"Experts say the Osama bin Laden death photo will be the most viewed image in history. Second, of course, is Sharon Stone from 'Basic Instinct.'" –Jay Leno

Sitting in a Luxury Box with a War Criminal (poem)

Sitting in a Luxury Box with a War Criminal

22 veterans a day commit suicide.

I can’t help but wonder why some people are so excited
to forgive a man who Lied to the country
and started a war,
in the wrong country,
(how does that happen, exactly?)
with the help of the newspapers,
and tv news?

His loyal staff, went to every tv camera
and reporter/accomplice and fed them
their lies 24/7.

The media never questioned a thing.
They could Not print their Lies
fast enough.
The War was a Go-Go!
Full steam ahead with the death and
destruction.
So, if seeing children burned to death
by Napalm, is your thing,
well you were in for a real treat.

Could they have been stopped?

Our politicians were and are bought and paid for,
many, if not most, if not all,
benefit from bombs being,
not only made, but actually dropped
on human beings.

Most of those killed would be innocent
of any crime.
Did that matter?
Not to those dropping the bombs...

Tragedy, despair, pain and horror was dished out
to all who were unfortunate enough
to be in their way.

Children going to school, standing in line waiting
for ice cream, or just being held
in their mother’s arms were
torn to pieces in an instant
in one explosion after another,
little arms and legs and heads
falling to the ground on fire.

Screaming so loud it seemed to drown
out the bombs.

Oh, let’s Not forget the torture.
Most were innocent.
It didn’t matter.
The pictures were great though.
Very realistic.

5,000 dead US soldiers.

some from Maine, California, Mississippi,
Nebraska, Texas, Indiana
and every other Mom and apple pie place
in this country.

One father when told of his son’s death in combat,
broke down, and set the agents bringing
the terrible news, car on fire.

It burned for an hour in his driveway.

One hero, a former football star,
gave up fortune and fame to serve
his country
on the battlefield.

When he was accidentally killed
by his own troops,
the government lied again,
not to spare his grieving parents
even more sorrow,
but because they were afraid
it would make them look bad.

This ordinary looking man in the luxury box is the man
they want to champion?
Why?

Maybe their shame mechanism is broken?

Maybe for them, the first million dead women and children,
don’t count somehow?
Worthy of a do-over, maybe?

32,000 wounded in every imaginable and unimaginable way.

Pieces of them are missing.
Blood in the sand 7,000 miles away
from home.
For what reason?

The screaming in my ears won’t go away….
Maybe tomorrow..

103,792 were diagnosed with
post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD),
still shaking, still remembering,
still not sleeping.

253,330 service members were diagnosed with a
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI),
still shaking, still remembering,
still not sleeping.

I will never be right again.

1000 service members received wounds
that required amputations.
Legs, arms, eyes, feet and fingers.
Not there anymore.
They used to be?

I will never be able to hold my wife
in my arms again?

16 years and a Million dead women and children
later….

Hey look! First down! How about them Cowboys!
Green Bay really came to play today!
They are whooping some ass….

They have forgotten the screams of the thousands
of children burned alive by the fire of our bombs…

I wish I could.

Bush rescued two purple stars from his Lucky Charms (citing standard rescue protocol)

"Last night, Former President Bill Clinton, under cover of darkness, parachuted into North Korea with a knife in his teeth and a skull on his chest to rescue journalists Laura Ling and Euna Lee. And it was a 13-hour flight home, during which, citing standard rescue protocol, Clinton gave both women mouth-to-mouth." --Jimmy Kimmel

Someone needs to tell Barack not all queens like show tunes (Well, that'll help you fall asleep)

by the age of 50, many of us are thinking at a President Bush level (Your greed is hurting the economy)

"The Republicans are on board in this, too. Iowa Senator Charles Grassley told AIG executives -- this is what he actually said -- he said they should either quit or commit suicide. But I think that's plain wrong. I mean, why give them the option of quitting?" --Jay Leno

"I like Grassley's idea, but here's my question: where was Congress when everything was falling apart, you know? They're supposed to be looking out for us. Here's a better idea. How about AIG and Congress making a giant suicide pact?" --Jay Leno

"New research out of the University of Virginia says that our mental abilities begin to decline around the age of 27. In fact, by the age of 50, many of us are thinking at a President Bush level." --Jay Leno

which is officially the smallest amount of money ever stolen by a Republican (clients one through eight)

A new Earth-like planet has been discovered a few months before an election where Donald Trump could be president. If that's not perfect timing, I don't know what is. –James Corden

"Tough day for the Bush administration. A guy named Claude Allen has been arrested and charged in Maryland with swindling Target and some other department stores out of refunds. He allegedly made off without about $5000 or so which is officially the smallest amount of money ever stolen by a Republican." --Jimmy Kimmel
