The last thing we need is Trump learning more about segregation (Bikini Atoll)

"The South Carolina GOP primary campaign is in full swing.

Candidates are shaking hands, kissing babies and strategically

ignoring Confederate flags." –Stephen Colbert

Donald Trump observed the holiday by visiting the National

Museum of African American History, or more accurately,

canceling his visit to the National Museum of African

American History. Although I guess in a way that might

be good. The last thing we need is Trump learning more

about segregation. –Stephen Colbert

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey is officially cutting down.

Apparently, the circus doesn't think it could compete against

a Trump presidency. –Stephen Colbert

Monopoly is trying to win younger players with a new edition

called Monopoly for Millennials, which they market with the

snarky tagline, “Forget real estate. You can’t afford it anyway.”

If we wanted realism in our board games, we’d have “Your

insurance doesn’t cover that OPERATION,” and CLUE 2018,

where it’s obvious who committed the crime, but somehow

they’re still president anyway. --Stephen Colbert

And I think you know that a guy really cares when he tweets from his yacht (Memory Refreshed)

"People are kind of upset with British Petroleum CEO Tony Hayward. Over the weekend, he was out on his yacht. In his defense, Tony twittered that the oil spill was still his top priority. And I think you know that a guy really cares when he tweets from his yacht." –David Letterman

"Now, in Obama's defense, the president has always had his own particular way of relaxing. For example, George W. Bush had his way of relaxing. He was president. That's how he relaxed." –David Letterman

They had a fundraising softball game at Yankee Stadium over the weekend, and do you know who played? New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. He had a great day at the plate. I'm talking about lunch.—David Letterman

"Yesterday, the House Intelligence Committee released materials that they got from Lev Parnas, a Ukrainian businessman, that have been described as ‘a trove of ridiculously incriminating impeachment evidence.’ That’s pretty bad, because when it comes to Trump crime, the scale goes: incriminating, very incriminating, ridiculously incriminating and Rudy on merlot.” —Stephen Colbert

"After disappointing showings in Iowa and New Hampshire, Newt's campaign looked terminally ill – which is generally when he moves on to something better." –Stephen Colbert

The union for air traffic controllers is worried because their members are not getting enough sleep. Due to the shutdown, unpaid air traffic controllers are waiting tables and driving for Uber in the time left over from their 10 hour shifts. That’s dangerous! You don’t want burnt out air traffic controllers waiting tables. You could end up with onion rings instead of fries. --Stephen Colbert

I saw that Donald Trump himself is selling inauguration sweatshirts for $79. I know it sounds expensive for a sweatshirt, but just imagine how much they would have cost if they were made in America. –Jimmy Fallon

You guys know I'll be there, too, right? (You're overcompensating)

January 2013

"President Obama's inauguration is coming up. During next week's inauguration, he will be sworn in with not one, but two Bibles. Relax, Mr. President. We get it. You're not a Muslim. You're overcompensating." –Conan O'Brien

"Abraham Lincoln, our 16th president, has never been hotter. 'Lincoln' received 12 Oscar nominations. 'Lincoln' also received a nomination for best hat." –David Letterman

"The 2013 Oscar nominations were announced today. 'Lincoln' earned the most nominations of any movie. 12 nominations for 'Lincoln.' I have a feeling that if he were alive today, Lincoln would say, 'What is a movie?'" –Jimmy Fallon

"President Obama recently came under fire over the lack of diversity in his cabinet. Then Obama said, 'You guys know I'll be there, too, right?'" –Jimmy Fallon

"Prostitutes in Brazil have started learning English so they can communicate with out-of-town clients during the World Cup. They are learning key phrases like, 'You are very handsome' and 'Nice to meet you, Mr. Sheen.'" –Jimmy Fallon
