So my children may live in peace (follow-up questions/shopping for boats)

Donald Trump said in the latest issue of "Rolling Stone" that he would consider dating his daughter Ivanka Trump, if he weren’t her father. Which explains why I saw Ivanka Trump’s therapist shopping for a boat. –Seth Meyers

He spent eight years telling Bush to be quiet (And if you thought bumping into your teacher at the grocery store was awkward)

"George W. Bush's famous 'Mission Accomplished' banner may be put in his Presidential Library. They plan to hang it up as soon as they start construction. Dick Cheney attended the ceremony. It's fitting for Cheney to be at the library. He spent eight years telling Bush to be quiet." –Jimmy Fallon

because eight years after you buy it, its value decreases $14 trillion (they just got linked to Jeffrey Epstein)

"I just read that George W. Bush is getting his own limited edition baseball card. You can tell it's Bush's card because eight years after you buy it, its value decreases $14 trillion." –Jimmy Fallon

“Actually, I got a little choked up watching Richard Branson’s flight. It always warms my heart to see billionaires achieve their dreams. I was happy for him, though. Normally when a billionaire flies away faster than the speed of sound, it’s because they just got linked to Jeffrey Epstein.” —Jimmy Fallon

Chris Christie sent back his chimichanga (19 minutes)

"Since House Majority Leader Eric Cantor lost to an anti-immigration candidate, many Republicans are feeling pressure to take a harder stance on immigration. In fact, the Republicans are so paranoid, today Chris Christie sent back his chimichanga." –Conan O'Brien

A new survey revealed that the average time a heterosexual couple has sex is 19 minutes. In my case, that’s two minutes for sex and 17 minutes for apologizing. –Conan O’Brien

We have the power to begin the world over again (a reggae festival and Willie Nelson's birthday combined)

May 2013

"Vice President Joe Biden met with two undocumented immigrants this week to promote the new immigration bill. When they learned they had to sit down with Biden, they went ahead and deported themselves." –Jimmy Fallon

"We had an election in Los Angeles yesterday. Three measures involved medical marijuana. The one that passed was a proposition that limits the number of marijuana dispensaries in the city. The rule now is there cannot be more marijuana stores than cupcake shops – because they feed on each other." –Jimmy Kimmel

"The proposition will limit the number of dispensaries in L.A. to 135. Unfortunately, right now there are about 800 pot shops, so the employees of 665 of them will be out of work. And on top of that, their resumes will say they used to work at a pot store. So I wish them luck." –Jimmy Kimmel

"A new study estimates that Colorado residents will legally smoke more than 2 million ounces of marijuana next year. That's like a reggae festival and Willie Nelson's birthday combined." –Jimmy Kimmel

"In November, Colorado passed an amendment that legalized the recreational use of marijuana. It's resulted in a surge of 'pot tourism.' People come for the weekend to smoke pot and the next thing they know, it's 30 years later they're still there working in a carbon-neutral coffee shop." –Jimmy Kimmel

It's like we're a nation of laws (The Trump Trifecta)

There's a phrase politicians on both sides of the aisle have been using for decades, and that is "we are a nation of laws," but in particular, Republicans and President Trump have used it in recent years to justify policies that target groups they want to punish like their political opponents or undocumented immigrants. Of course, the more we learn about Trump, the more I think he means that as a complaint, "They won't let me do anything around here. It's like we're a nation of laws." --Seth Meyers

Today, President Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen was sentenced to three years in prison after being convicted of tax fraud, campaign finance violations, and lying to congress. Or as it’s more commonly known, “The Trump Trifecta.” --James Corden
