In addition to hamberders, there was chorken nerglets, fronch firs, felayshofitch and of course, pizzazz (Chlamydia/Ted Cruz 2020)

Of course, this shutdown has been hard on government employees, particularly the president. His popularity has taken a nosedive. Even the super-republican-leaning Rasmussen poll shows Trump with his lowest approval rating in a year. He’s cratering. By the time the election rolls around, he could lose to the ticket of Chlamydia/Ted Cruz 2020. --Stephen Colbert
Trump tweeted about having the champion Clemson Tigers football team at the White House: “Great being with the national champion Clemson Tigers last night at the White House. Because of the shutdown, I served them massive amounts of fast food--I paid. Over 1,000 hamberders, etc cetera.” That’s right in addition to hamberders, there was chorken nerglets, fronch firs, felayshofitch and of course, pizzazz. --Stephen Colbert

Trump just walked into a McDonald’s and went, “Give me the usual.” (his four most trusted advisors)

Last Night President Trump hosted the National Championship winning Clemson Tigers football team at the White House, where he paid $3,000 out of his own pocket to provide them with pizza, fries and hamburgers. To place this order, Trump just walked into a McDonald’s and went, “Give me the usual.” --James Corden
Trump bought food from McDonald’s, Wendy’s Burger King and Domino’s -- or as Trump calls them, his four most trusted advisors. --James Corden
This morning Trump tweeted about the dinner, and proceeded to misspell the word “hamburgers.” Of course he did. He’s the President of the United States. He called them “hamberders.” But anyway this afternoon it was back to business as usual. Trump was 100% focused on his “Berder” wall. --James Corden

Tragic, yes... (but I can also see the bright side)

"It could now be profitable for oil companies to start drilling for oil in Los Angeles again. And once again, I think President Bush doesn't really understand this issue. Like today, he announced the drawing of a contingency plan to invade the San Fernando Valley." --Jay Leno

"God, that's got to be depressing for women, don't you think? I mean, think about it. When even a legally blind guy has a roving eye, come on!" --Jay Leno

"According to a new study by scientists at Clemson University, almost 3,000 bacteria are transferred every time you double-dip something. More bad news for New Jersey Governor Jim McGreevey." --Jay Leno
