I assumed he was dead. I guess this is better. I don't know (Now we’re all in it together)

As is Matt Lauer. Matt Lauer was let go from the "Today" show this morning because of unspecified allegations of sexual harassment. This morning my wife looked on her phone and said, "Oh my God, Matt Lauer," which, of course, I assumed he was dead. I guess this is better. I don't know. –Jimmy Kimmel

And on top of all this, 75-year-old Garrison Keillor, the guy from "A Prairie Home Companion," was fired today from Minnesota Public Radio. Can you imagine being fired from Minnesota Public Radio? It's like having your library card revoked. –Jimmy Kimmel

Meanwhile North Korea launched another missile yesterday. That apparently now they can reach every part of the mainland of the United States. Which is scary, of course. And I know it sounds terrible, but speaking for those of us who live here on the west coast, there's something comforting about the fact that it's not just us who have to worry about this anymore. Now we’re all in it together. Congratulations. –Jimmy Kimmel
